Trees are as poetry: written by earth against the sky. We fell them for paper so we can express our emptiness

A ‘boer’ (South African farmer) is doing some shopping in town. Head and eyes up as a real farmer; you find them anywhere in the world: “As far as you can see; all mine”.

And as in the old South African tradition one of his ‘workers’ is walking 5 metres behind him to carry the bags. 30 Metres in front there is a banana skin on the pavement. And you see the ‘worker’ thinking: “There he goes again”.

And indeed ………..

Recently on TV in Ophrah: “The four basics for a healthy life are good food, good drinks, good sleep and good sex”

A visit to one of the prime succulent gardens in South Africa can now be considered as healthy: “Everything you always wanted to know about sex …….. between plants but never dared to ask”.

The meaning of a human being is not in his accomplishment but in what he wants to accomplish
