A man, his wife and 2 children arrive at Soekershof with in the back of the Toyata landcruiser more than 30 boxes (x 6 bottles) of wine of which the majority (like most mainstream wines from Robertson) is cheaper in de local supermarket in Cape Town than at the wine cellar. Definitely not a ‘connaisseur’, that’s for sure.

He’s been on ‘wine hunting’ the previous day and wants to do his family the “pleasure” of visiting the maze and the gardens. “Oh … I don’t have money left for the admission fee. I didn’t know that you charge people for this”……..
